Edison & Ford Winter Estates Landmark Goes Solar

Thomas Edison may have one of the most famous quotes about solar energy of all time. In 1931, Edison said “I’d put my money on the sun and solar energy. What a source of power! I hope we don’t have to wait until oil and coal run out before we tackle that.”
Well, now the Edison Winter Estate in Fort Myers, FL has gone solar. The panels will power the hall of invention and will be used in conjunction with Florida Energy & Light’s solar education program.
